Malachite Green Powder (5g)

Malachite Green Powder — Concentrated Power for Experienced Keepers

Malachite green is one of the best-known treatments in the hobby, used for many years against white spot (ich), fungal infections and other external parasites. This 5g pack of concentrated powder gives experienced keepers and breeders a flexible, cost-effective option.

Because it is a powder, you can prepare exactly the strength you need — whether for a small hospital tank or larger breeding systems. A small amount goes a long way, so one pack covers many treatments.

Measure very carefully, as the powder is highly concentrated. Treat in a separate hospital or quarantine tank where possible, keep the water well-aerated, and complete the full treatment course.

Malachite green is toxic to shrimp, snails and other invertebrates, and scaleless fish (such as loaches and catfish) are more sensitive, so a reduced dose or a different treatment may be needed for them. It is not for use on fish intended for human consumption. Wear gloves when handling. Always follow the dosage on the pack. Remove activated carbon from the filter during treatment, as it absorbs medicine.
