The Exotic Bangladesh

Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

At The Exotic Bangladesh, customer satisfaction and the health of our aquatic livestock are our top priorities. We take great care in packaging and delivering live fish safely. However, we understand that unexpected issues may sometimes occur during transportation.

To ensure a fair and transparent shopping experience, we offer the following Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

1. Fish Exchange Policy

If you receive a fish with any visible health issues, damage, or other problems, you may be eligible for an exchange.

• Customers must record a clear, continuous unboxing video while opening the package.
• The video must clearly show the condition of the fish at the time of unboxing.
• Customers should contact our support team as soon as possible and provide the unboxing video along with their order details.
• Once the issue is verified, an exchange will be arranged.

Important: A valid unboxing video is mandatory for fish exchange claims.

2. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

If any fish is found dead upon delivery, The Exotic Bangladesh offers a replacement arrangement.

• The customer must provide a clear unboxing video showing the dead fish upon opening the package.
• After reviewing and verifying the claim, we will arrange to send a replacement fish.
• The replacement fish will be provided without charging again for the fish itself.
• The customer must bear the delivery charge for shipping the replacement fish.

3. Refund Policy

Our primary solution for verified issues involving live fish is exchange or replacement rather than an immediate monetary refund.

Any request for a monetary refund will be reviewed individually, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Important Conditions

• An unboxing video is required to verify exchange and Dead on Arrival claims.
• Customers are encouraged to inspect their shipment immediately upon receiving it.
• All claims are subject to verification by The Exotic Bangladesh.
• Replacement delivery charges for Dead on Arrival claims are the customer’s responsibility.
• Customer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
